What other places do you guys know of where you can find decent XF support? I use the Official Site but with Xenforo's current state of things, I have been looking for other places. I know when I had Mybb, i hated Mybb's support but was able to find a multitude of unofficial support forums.

To be honest I really only go to xenforo for their support. I use to like xenfans but that site was shut down the last time I checked.

This would have been my suggestion as well. IIRC it's owned by Floris?

While the developers may be MIA, I think you'll find that the rest of the company forum (both moderators and regular visitors alike) is very helpful and knowledgeable if you're looking for support.

    It was, yes.

Are they still MIA? I would have thought they would have been back by now.

When I had XF, I only went to the official forums and sometimes here for information. A lot of the threads over at xf.com seem to turn into where are the developers, they've left us, etc. :banghead:

Some do, but there's still some very knowledgeable people there willing to help out.
    Tickets are still being addressed.
New resources are going into the resource manager.

Whilst it seems development is stagnant (we can only assume), much of the community marching on with their own projects and helping each other out.

+1 I forgot to mention the ticket system.

They're awesome with the tickets. I've never waited very long even when asking for something like a query to do something they really didn't have to support.

Let me rephrase that: while Mike and Ashley are invisible (so I'm not certain if they've been around), Kier is still signed in regularly--however, neither he nor Mike has made a post in over two months. From what I understand, they were still answering tickets (at least until recently, when people complained of slow ticket responses and Jake and Slavik were given access to the ticket system).

It still takes awhile for a response to tickets.

I sent two tickets in for a simple question

Both were sent in Monday.....one got a reply back wednesday and the other friday....

Who was it that replied to the tickets?

Signed in doesn't really mean much imo. For all we know they could just be logging onto the index page that is it. I honestly really thought XF had a big future but lately I am not thinking that.

I haven't had to use the ticket system at xenforo but that would drive me nuts if I had to wait that long for priority support :(

The public xenforo forums is a perfect way to get more answers about a simple question.

I transferred two licenses recently in separate tickets. Ashley was right on top of it. Most replies came over night (for me) I'm guessing it's a time zone thing but I cannot complain about the duration between replies.

Well the question was about billing as I was trying to purchase somethign so I couldn't ask it in the forums really..and i asked my second question via ticket though that could have probably gone into the forums.
