So, what's your favorite aspect of running an online community? Is it the fact that you're driving and meeting new people on your community and you're allowed to talk about different things, share view points, or what's your favorite aspect? Ad User: Forum © XenAdShare from Surrey Forum
Hands down the people. It's interesting to meet new people and to get know them through their postings. If it weren't for people I doubt many of us would be into forums.
Ya, one of the reasons I love the internet is the fact that you can meet people with similar interests/hobbies, which is why a lot of today's forums are so great.
I like being my own boss, I think my username makes that clear. I'm also very competitive, and it's very hard to try and make it to the top of my niche, so I like the challenge.
Without a doubt, community. It's actually part of why I started my forum: I wanted a place to discuss and discover music with others, and having a forum was in my opinion the best way to do that on a larger scale than something like Twitter alone.
Sharing my opinions + helping out someone else. For example, I host monthly free giveaways of free PC games for our members and the winner is usually pretty happy ;P
