Name: MvC3Forum [Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Forum] Link: www.mvc3forum.com Description: A Marvel vs Capcom 3 Fan Forum. Other Information: Marvel vs Capcom 3 is coming to Xbox 360, and PS3 in February. I have aquired all these domain names along with the site: www.mvc3forums.com Expired. www.marvelvscapcom3forum.com Expired. www.marvelvscapcom3forums.com Expired. There are some great Dark themes like Dark_xF and this http://xenforo.com/community/threads/xfstyles-net-xenorange-pro.9274
Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 was recently released for Xbox 360, and PS3, in november. However, that did not spell growth for the forum. In fact, the forums did not prosper despite the fact that I had tried to target search engines with UMVC3 keywords in threads. Then in Japan, UMVC3 was released for PSVita in December. Nothing worked either, regardless of the fact that I targeted search engines with PlayStation Vita keywords. Now that the game is out in the U.S. and has been since the 15th... MVC3Forum did not see a traffic rise, we're days away from PSVita launch across the world. I posted to twitter and facebook all this time... I even tried e-mailing members to come back. Nothing. Now I am on my last legs of marketing the site. Here I am.
This might help you. This is an idea I'm about to use on my own forums. Have you ever heard of places like microworkers and minuteworkers? They are basically sites where you pay people to do tasks for you. Let me say this now, DON'T pay them to post on your forum. Because all you'll get is low quality crap. What I plan on doing is paying them to promote my link to other places of similar interest all over the net. That way, you don't have to worry about low quality posters and at the same time you'll have visitors coming in from all over the net.
I have been doing that lately. How I didn't think of video game streams with chatboxes didn't come to mind at first...I dunno. But I have used it towards MVC3Forum and it's sister site SFvsTekken. What caused it all was a post on a twitter feed at IGN... http://t.co/gkhcQA1G [that's Twitter shortener, it takes you to the blog post I did].
