    Hello Everyone,

This is an exciting announcement for me, something I’ve been looking forward since I was first contacted about it. This is something that was brought to my attention and I had the chance to get in the initial funding but wasn’t able to afford it at the time because of I was also moving to a new location.

So… long story short, we now have a fantastic mod for our forums that allows us to sign up on one forum and be able to login and post on any that we have in the network. (Currently 2 forums)

I’ll send an email out to the General-Forums.com members and let them know about Admin-Talk.com, I’ll mention this in our next Admin-Talk.com newsletter. This will allow us a few things, one being we could add another forum to our network and not having to merge all content, just access to it.

Let me know if you have any questions

    -Brandon

I can't seem to login to general-forums. I've tried both using tapatalk and using the website and get incorrect password message on both.

I'm not sure on tapatalk but you should be able to login via the browser just fine.
Are you sure you're using the correct password?

    Thanks for checking

What if you have the same username on both sites?

I wasn't able to use my Dan Hutter login at GF. "The requested user 'Dan Hutter' could not be found."

Also are the email address both the same?

I logged out and tried logging on here with my Big Dan account from GF and got this error. "'Dumb' signature verification HTTP request failed"

Maybe it's because I'm already cookied -- gonna try in Opera.

    Edit: Same error in Opera.

and I Really don't appreciate XF calling my signature dumb!

Tried logging out and re-logging back in to admin-talk first and wont work. Also tried logging in again with my username and email over at GF, still no luck. Even tried to recover my password on general-forums to see if it could find me, it couldn't.

woohoo, do you didn't get the signature error that you did last night, this time?

(all: talking about a discussion I had with Monster on GF)

ps this is a staff test too
See Monster is an admin over at General-Forums and he was able to sync over here as a "regular user"

    cool stuff

I think I've identified my problem. There's already a member over on GF called benjaminp, which is why I'm unable to login.
