So I just tried from Firefox the page comes right up. But with Chrome it says the page is down, guessing they are having some sort of issue.

Nothing wrong on the server end. I have a set batch scripts which backs up all the databases and site files at 7AM CST everyday. I know when it runs it does slow the site some. It takes about an hour to complete so that is more than likely what happened.

I used to run it on one of the slave servers for the mysql backup. Problem with that is some of the content wasn't fresh so I modified the scripts to run off the main server. Maybe I'll have to rethink that again.

@AWS How's everything going on with AdminAddict? What's the traffic and daily posts looking like? Have you seen an increase if traffic since you changed forum software?

Too early to tell. Traffic is up since when I first transferred it to my servers and I've noticed some of the old time users are coming back, but, posting is still a bit slow.

I still have some things to do before I concentrate on increasing activity.

    Thanks for the link @AWS
Do you mind making a showcase thread for info like this?
I know this thread is about your site and all, but it was more for the import/merge over to IPB :)
