I don't exactly understand where it's getting the numbers TBH, I know the stats each day in the admincp still show it in the 30's
Maybe the "active users" in the xf stats are those who have posted?
Also this is I believe setup on a rolling 24 hours, so it'll always show the last 24 hours vs starting at midnight.
I'll have to take a closer look sometime.

So are we still focused on admin-related topics? I see a lot of the "general" threads still going strong, so I'm not so sure of what the main focus is now.

We'll always focus on the admin/webmaster side, but now we have a good deal of tech and entertainment threads. I would say our next focus after webmaster info, would be the technology forums. :)

We're focused on the whole forum. We just have a lot more content to work with now. Our admin side of the boards = is always going to be there. The other forums are there for those that don't wish to talk about just "admin stuff".

    ;)

Sounds like XF needs to take a page out of vBulletin's book for this one.

Probably a good thing as both forums were similar.
The only thing is that the twitter handle of General Forums should change to AdminTalk

I'll see about it, I know Twitter doesn't allow the word "admin" as your twitter name

Since I come here for the admin talk ONLY, I can't say I'm too thrilled to see all the 'offtopic'. But on the other hand nothing stops me to open the threads I am interested in and continue my activity here. So, as long as you and the entire community are happy with the merge, so am I :)

I mostly avoid the off topic stuff, too. It was a strange transition for me, but I found my own way around some of it, too. I'm addicted to the "what's new" link on forums to show me all the new content across all the boards. With all the off topic stuff, it seemed much harder to sift through that way. Now I just go into The Lounge, etc first thing and mark the whole board as read, so none of that shows up in 'new content' area. Then if I want to see any OT stuff, I can always click in there directly to browse.

    That's not a bad idea @Jessi
Maybe we could have a link that would mark all "gen" post as read for the admin users, and one that marks all "admin" post as read for everyone else. :)
