Google has been trying to tap social networking for a while now, but currently Facebook runs the social networking game, as does Twitter.

So, which company do you prefer and why?

Well facebook for me as I have mentioned many times, but what has Google been doing in the social networking scene? Does it have a social networking site?

I prefer Facebook because it keeps me in touch with my friends as I don't have MSN anymore. And didn't Google buy Bebo?

Google tried to buy Skype, but Microsoft bought them out.

Really? I didn't know that. But still though, how does that compare really to Facebook and Twitter? Skype seems more like a tool just as Google Talk, MSN Messenger, Yahoo IM, etc.

But to answer your question, I don't use really any of them. I'm not really into it. I do use Skype though.

Well I use Facebook, and I've been more into Twitter lately for my news.
I think if Google really improved Orkut overall it would be more successful, though it doesn't stand much of a chance against Facebook.
Wise move on Google's part to have Buzz pull your tweets from Twitter in my opinion.

Twitter has been my favourite because I use social networks to mainly promote and I've mastered how to use Twitter to promote now.

Twitter is a great tool, and its pretty easy to learn how to use it for the benefit of your website.

Yes, Twitter is awesome. Plus it's much easier to implement a tweet button with them, there's a lot of work to do with Facebook to get it the way I want it.

I've ignored the Google+ "sign up link" up to this date.
Between Twitter and FaceBook, I'm going to have to say FaceBook wins, hands down. Twitter is a good alternative, but FaceBook is where all of the social activities are at, ;)
    Twitter, eh..

You do know that they'll eventually put ads in the future, right? Brands want to buy space for their Google+ pages, the only reason why it's not working right now is because they want to find a good place and good location to put "ads." In fact, currently, there are promoted ads in rotation for some users. I have seen this myself already.

I like how Facebook implemented their "ads."

I don't hold much faith in G+ to be honest, I think it'll vanish in time just like Google Wave did not to long ago. Who knows, they may stumble across something amazing but I'm not holding my breath.
I use Facebook for close friends and family, that's it.
I use Twitter for everything.. Talking with friends, family and marketing myself. I have a few Twitter accounts that I've gathered over the last couple years. They bring a decent amount of traffic to my network.

I hold faith in G+ because the technology seems hard-coded into the whole google system. It's on the main page, it's on parts of the search engine itself, it's got a bunch of pages in the help section. I mean, google seems so invested in this, than they did with Wave. Or iGoogle, for that matter.

For me it's Facebook, because google+ ain't popular enough yet, and twitter is full of bots.

They should intergrate[sp?] into the gmail service as well. Google + could make a nice run, but it needs more features - in terms of competing against Facebook, or they could directly tap Facebook's market by advertising on their site as well. Only time will tell though, once more people flock over to G+ and tell their friends, it'll create a catch-22.

Google wave sucked, I didn't even use that.

I use all three of them. They all have their pros and cons. And now with a forum I use all three to try to promote my site. The site is still pretty new but Twitter was leading the three in traffic sent to my site. Yesterday, facebook took the lead.

For me facebook is great for keeping in touch with family.

Twitter is great for following celebrity's and so on.

Google+ is great for tech right now.

What I like is the new features that came in because of Google+. The competition is good for us.
