Right now i'm using the Archway theme by crip, although it's very very modified from the orginal version.
I'm just using the default theme for now. I haven't seen anything that makes me feel I should change it.
Crip's themes are awesome! I love his themes! At least the blue ones. The other Crip themes work on my SMF forum for some reason. The image files never upload right. Maybe they are missing from the zip file. Right now I'm using Anecdota by Crip which is very similar to NueBlue, except there's a glossier color to the blue and the background doesn't have that horrid checkered pattern. I like Anecdota better. I don't like how the table extends from one side of the forum to the other. I would prefer a more compact forum table. Maybe I will figure out how to tweak the table sizes later. For now, I'm just happy with the theme.
Haha im not suprised blue would be his main color, as "Crips" is a very big gang here in america, the second biggest, and their color for representing themselves is blue.
How funny! I didn't even think about that. We don't have lots of those gangs here in the South. Except maybe there are some in the bigger Southern cities like Atlanta. I haven't been there for at least ten years, so who knows. As for the blue, it's just a color, I've always been attracted to, not sure why. Right now, I'm having a deal of a time making the forum table look right. On my primary computer, with the wide screen, the template is stretched from side to side literally and looks warped. But on the secondary computer, (smaller screen, not flat) the template comes across looking normal. And, then on Crips demo page, the template actually looks very constrained, better than it's coming across on my site. So, I know he must have tweaked it to look that way. Maybe he has a newer version of the theme on his site that fixes that glitch. It sort of looks like what you have here, where the container is more in the middle and lots of side space, though much different colors. I like that style a lot. It just looks more professional and neat. I don't like sloppy looking themes that are all over the place. So, I will either try to fix the theme, figure out what he did to make his theme work, hope he's updated the theme and download from his site (and not SMF site) or abandon the theme and find one that looks normal even if it's not in my chosen color. Though honestly, I won't be happy to lose the blue.
Funny that you mention Atlanta, Georgia as that is my birthplace, and I still live here in Georgia by the way And yes there is a good amount of gangs in downtown atlanta. I dont live in atlanta by the way, I live in a different city in georgia (lilburn). And to be back on topic, blue styles are great and most likely are the most used as blue has this thing about it that makes everyone like it.
Right now I am using ProRed by Skin-Box. I like the over all design and layout. Not sure why I picked the red one that day, as usually I am a blue fan myself. Probably will switch to the blue version eventually.
